i agree with lennon. modified car is not giving reliability. big hp means less life span. not only engine. i think for bigger hp car the clutch will run out after a few run.

 

Before any mod on the renesis, I think should find out the root cause of blowing. Will it be the Apex seal too weak or something else.

 

it was the first tuning,i just try it one time on the road...the water temp are 115 something and oil temp are 117.....then guess what my gear box gone(but the feeling will keep in my heart)cool.. ....now ask the jap guy cut down till 0.7 bar and the rule is i just can rev till 7k RMP to change...this oct the ss crazy will come again....maybe got new thing to test....always be white mouse...

 

boy you can consider the 3 plate clutch,but not sedap to drive already...the ss crazy tuned r34 N spec nerr over here get 780hp on wheel....when he try the car i sit and the back i wanna .

I think I'll have to save $$ for NA mod. Maybe can add another 15-25hp and replace the 4.44 FD and then put a baby on board sticker at the rear bonet

 

Bro, no point being a dare devil if the engine keep on blowing..... Play safe....

 

Try to lighten the car, throw away the back seats or change to Bride, with your exhaust and RE remap you can get 210hp on wheel..... But better throw your air filter away, when the piping is too long, turbulence will occur and it will choke your engine during high RPM...... It's no joke.....

 

Oh yea when is RE remap happening? (if at all)

 

Now no pipe. Manage to get a used filter box (the box only) with autoexe filter. Air direct in just from the box hole. I don't want to remap 1st because I still not yet decide which way to go. Don't wanna waste extra money. That also the reason why I still not yet change the final drive (that was the 1st thing to change in my plan). Anyway, I may do a dyno when come back. Wanna check if the car have 200hp or not. Cuz felt like just slightly better than my 1.6 Mivec wila since day 1 . If can put 17" rim, I will put that as the 1st choice

if manual look for Type S - 250hp (mazda given hp)
auto look for Type E - 210hp

if wan buy auto , look for 2006 version - 6 speed automatic transmission, heard is better than 4 speed alot, horsepower increse 20hp

 

wan buy rx8 in penang, find boonyloh, he can help u... he got alot of experience on it

after my new engine install, the engine oil seem not going down so much. i wonder if something wrong with my engine oil pump.

 

i think after u change new engine, show the correct engine oil status
maybe last time is a sign before that make ur engine merdeka !
