anyone out there know what mods are "necessary" or "good to have" for the RX8 AT?

 

Auto Transmission Fluid Cooler

 

Auto Transmission Cooler --- By RE locate infront of Radiator. with bracket ready.

Engine Oil cooler --- driver side cooler slot, Recommend Mazdaspeed with all pipe and bracket ready.

Voltage Stabilizer and earthing -- Pizot or other brand.

 

Dude I think most likely got typo, probably should be pivot.

Btw have you done the mazdaspeed oil cooler mod and what reviews can you give on that.

ya pivot hahaha sorry typo error.

mazdaspeed oil cooler, ya i am using it. all i can say is Superior design. very very easy to install. fit great. and it maintain the power band even when the car is hot.

 

Is it possible to install both ATF cooler and (additional) engine oil cooler on 4AT or 6AT? Thought I read somewhere that you can only choose one, and most recommend ATF cooler since the car already comes with one engine oil cooler.

BTW what is the estimated cost of installing each? Thanks.

 

yes its possible to have 2. one infront of the radiator and 1 at the oil cooler hole driver side.

it cost me US$420 for Mazdaspeed engine oil cooler. and i know that ATF cooler is cheaper.
