Thanks Bro! $15 per quart is quite cheap!! Me paid $28 for Redline. By the way for those whose not sure about how much transmission oil and differential oil (u know who u are, we spoke at the last meet) the 8 dont need 4-5 liters of the oil.
For Transmission, 2 quart (2 bottle) is just nice, and differential oil only uses 1and a half quart.

One more reply here and you've hit the century mark!

The MS rear spoiler original lists in Japanparts for just over $1,700....how much "should" a presprayed replica go for and is GR the only place to get one?

Thx for advice coupe....I guess yer saying that replica is prone to breakdown or lead to install problems due to poorer materials and/or workmanship....gotta take that into consideration!

dats right bro....... ALL replicas have this problem...... mazdaspeed design their signature spoiler with R&D but replica juz replicate it whole lump sum... i'm sure the original one is there for a reason..... most of the races with rx8 in japan uses the mazdaspeed spoiler......

no doubt in spore, most of us juz wan the aesthetic look, juz imagine while travelling at slightly higher speed u hear sound from ur spoiler or something dropped off..........

just to add that another key issue with replicas is the quality of surface and paintwork, will never be as smooth esply when seen under light. replicas generally give a "cheap look" due to this not so even surface.

I do have the MS style wing in CF finish. Like wat 07 mentioned, my wing dont fit that well. Dont think it will be as bad as wat 07 said that replicas will fall off the lid!!
I guess most replica parts dont fit well cause they just make a mould over the original, thus most would be a little bigger and thus the fitting problem.

Anyway I installed it myself. Will probably get a pro installer to take a look and see if it can be fix.

Wat's your wing 07? Knight's? how much you paid? Was admiring your wing at harbour centre the other day

Hi Vanquish,

Mind if you share more info on the rims - shop/location? The thing is I am 2 minds about going with PI's rims upgrade to 17" (taiwan brand/Falken) @ 2K, or taking it out to trade-in at a good lobang shop myself. Thanks!

The spare parts shop along Veerasamy road(amost towards the end).

The shop is called Sin Guan Heng or something to that effect.

Tel no. 6293 0863.

They can get you almost any spare part for yr 8.

Prices are reasonable compared to the daylight robber MM. Service is good.

I got the black plastic casing around the exhaust tail pipe for only $46.00.

MM told me you have to buy the whole bumper $460.00.
They said they don't just sell the casing and your 8 has to be from them
before they sell you the bumper!

I felt like telling them to shove the bumper up their ....
