Just got my remapped done. I did not really notice a difference driving home, of cos I probably need to be on a track to see that speed cut removed.
How do I see if the fan sets off at 87deg and water temp reduce? Do I need some sorta gauge in the car?
Hoping to see some improvements in fuel mileage too.
Anyone please post your results?
Thanks to all at MG for organizing the event! :D
Oh mine's a 6AT btw. :-)

6MT JDM. I immediately noticed that all the power peaks have been smoothened out throughout the rev range, makes the car much more drivable. h/p change not noticable, the rest, not tested yet.
Yes, you need an aftermarket water temp gauge like defi to tell. The stock one on the dash is just an 'idiot gauge' with 3 main positions, like most cars. It only tells you 'cold', 'normal' and 'toohotyou'rescrewed'.

Just revved it to the limit this afternoon, the rev cut's been removed, no more "beeep" at 7500rpm, just revved till 8500!
In all excitement I forgot to up the gear to 2, will that hurt the engine much? :p
