I'm facing a problem with the EPS!

I'm now experiencing a problem....whenever my ride is parked overnite or for several hours, I have difficulties with the steering....It vibrates vigorously! & very stiff to go either left or right!

I've to stop & roll the steering left to right, right to left & left to right........ to let it vibrates for a while & everything will be back to normal! What's happeneing?????

Something wrong with the EPS? Anyone experienced this, I doubt. What about those rides not from Singapore???

Anyway... sounded serious!

maybe try disconnecting your battery. that will reset a couple of electronics. Unless you know exactly which fuse to pull out...

If you really pulling the battery, remember this, the DSC light will come on, to dis-enage, turn your steering all the way left then rigth (or the other way round cant remember) that will re-set the DSC.

And hopefully the EPS too....

good luck

Daverx...not really sure what would cause that to happen, but the 8 does benefit from a decent electrical grounding like circle earth from HKS....just a thought.

Hi Bro,

Yeah, I'am having the same problem. Already spoken HY workshop at Ubi and they will contact the Jap to understand what cause this.

I have read some threads and they did mentioned to replace wire harness and Power steerring module to resolve the problem.

I will continue to chase them and call you once found out the cause.

Did you just change Battery!!
