i need help too!!

ello everyone.

Would anyone happen to know which rims would suit a pearl white best?
Any enlightenment regarding the technical aspects of rims-buying would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently looking at the racing hart cxr (i like black rims with rivets, and my second choice would be chrome rims) and was quoted $4650 for the rims + some eagle f1 tyres which the shop guy recommended. ($850 per rim) which makes it $1250 for the tyres. Have I been over-quoted?

Which tyres would be most recommended for a driver who doesn't really drive hard?

Thanks in advance.

I felt that Chrome rims will go better with a White car.

Black Rims are beautiful, but not on Light color cars. The black Rims will only look good on darker color cars.

I think I'm one step ahead of you.
Getting my car kitted tomorrow at Dash

Ings.

First kit, thought a replica would be more suitable till I get accustomed to the lowness.

Gold. cannot lah. doesn't go with my hair.

Hyper black rims look good. Hyper black forge rims are best. Those shiny metallic black rims....

Hi Dollygirl,

If you are worried abt maintenance or keeping the wheels spanking clean, better avoid white then, IMHO.

CE28 will be perfect for anyone who finds it a pain in the **** to clean their rims, since CE28 bronzy looking, doesn't really matter whether dirty or not, still good looking ever.

Chrome wheels are a beaut, but no proper maintenance on any form of chrome, will detiorate very very quickly........ , especially if you just wash it the normal way.....

The RacingHart to me, I luv it, as well as the CE28, my top 2 choices for a white or even my grey 8........

Only big drawback for the Harts, they are too darn heavy and expensive, but if u r not into performance but just to look pretty, then its no problemo......

y not consider WORK emotion XD9?? looks damn similar to CE28 but cheaper! The most fantastic thing is, its DEEP DISH.......

Drop by my shop mid august and see the rims...... staggered setup, F: 18x8, R: 18x9. Offset gum gum for RX8.

Go for MS kit with TE37 rims, looks damn chio The WORK emotion XD9 looks sweet too.... And I think so far no one has it, so you'll be the first in SG with XD9 rims. And I know how much you like to be unique and not have too many people having the same setup as you

I went to LS.
Heard about u bringing in rims.. but u only bringing in 2 sets right..
And I also don't wanna wait too long before doing my rims, else my car will look damn **** with the kit and stock rims, no?

And I know most of u will laugh at my question.
But whats an offset?

gum gum. hahah.

MS kit with TE37 rims? Sounds strangely familiar.
And u say u know I like to be unique.

I picked out these rims, but I have no idea what rims they are? Anyone care to help me identify?

Hi dollygrrl,

The first set is the WORK Emotion rim. Quite nice. But I'm a sucker for blinging it up and pimping the ride.

The 2nd set are my rims!! It's a RAYS United Arrows rim. I run on 18"s that I got from LS (which is probably where you took the pic right?). Also bling but cannot fight the blingier ones I saw on some 8s. They know who they are. Not as light as the track rims, but "look fierce, sound fast, people will scared ah"...

Hope the above helps.

Hmmm and if you like to be unique, the 2nd set is out for you...the LS guy may tell you an 8 has those rims and always has to come in to get replacement tyre valve caps cos the caps get stolen hahahaha

Hmmm..........

Staggered, Deep dish, Beautiful. Ma Ma Miya... but hard to maintain. Gets dirtied and loses the shine easily... Then again very light, My FC improved by 8%, a change from stock 16"
