Hi guys going down tom to sign on the dotline .The dealer ask me to go down to neg for the option. i.e rims ,bodykit,rev sensor,audio front or back.

Hmm...i'm not abt mm but if ur buying it from a PI, i guess u can juz be very frank
abt wat acessories u want and check if they r willing to give it to u?from wat i noe,
the dealer usually sets a budget for accessories for each deal they secure and is
unlikely to go beyond that budget lah...so juz ask wat they'll be willing to throw in if u
sign wif them n try to cut a better deal from there? hope this helps...

whoever you sign with, make sure the company and
back up workshop is reputable.

also the 8 comes in premium models like Type E for the AT and Types S
for the 6MT.

the new stocks are also keyless entry and start.

the common options are 6 disc cd changer, heat and UV reduction film
leather seats(local made) and some offer 3 year warranty.

if yours is an indent order, you can actually ask for quite a few options.

1. Original fog lights
2. Original 18 inch rims
3. Sun roof
4. Original leather seats and door panels

Some other options not commonly or not found in Singapore

5. Xenon headlights
6. Sun roof for AT(Standard on 6MT)
7. Electric seat with side airbags
8. Cruise control
9. Nav screen


Apart from the above, there are many endless accessories for the 8.

I am looking at the base 4 AT, and was advised by 2 PIs that:

(1) Keyless start button is an option
(2) The following are not manufacture option on 4AT base (ie you can't have them) -
- Sunroof
- 18" Rims
- Cruise Control
- Electric seats

I am a bit confused..

1)Keyless entry

2)leather seat two tone

3)Fog light

4)in dash changer

and must wait for 2mth.

Urgently scrapped my useless Camry and put a Cat E for my 8..

4 AT is jdm model...jdm model dun come with electric seat or cruise control
unless type E i think...16' are standard on the base model so dun think u can change
them unless done locally...sunroof only comes on euro spec model which MM is bringin
in, so the PI ones dun have them...hope this clear things up for u...

 

i guess shld be this amount of time to wait for the car lah...i ordered mine at end of
march...she arrived in spore ard a week ago...now juz must wait for the inspection
n registration which shld happen b4 mid may according to my SE...so i think 2 mth shld be reasonable time?

 

This kinda thingy.. sometimes cannot wait.. i saw it, i fell in love with it, i bought it, i got it. ANxiety dies off.... whilst waiting.. Hahaha..



2 months = 60 days = 1440hrs = 86400 mins ....... (for seconds and milliseconds, pls calculate urself) Start counting down......... Hahaha...

I got my car in 2 months as the white was a special indent order. The PI wanted to offer me a blue 8 with a discount of $4k and deliver within 2 weeks. Because it was a 04 model. Lacky never fell for it; i saw that particular car at their authorised workshop and it was a sad sight.

Sometimes getting a car too fast may not be a good thing as it may not be so "fresh". It might be a old model or show car.

Checked my manufacture date and it was made in june 05 and i got my car in late Aug.

 

True.. was what i checked with the Fella when i signed on the dotted line...

Older Manufactured ones ie 04, OMV about 34-38k. Mine is 05 Sept, OMV 30K

I got my ride in Sep 05. manfactured date june 05, OMV38K.

Actually in japan, you can add any options/accessoriess you want,
so if you are getting an indent JDM 8, anything is possible.

You will be able to see Nav screens and cruise controls on JDM 8
even on the websites.

It all depends how thick is your PI with their Japan dealer.

I've ever seen a Shinka with a whole range of mazdaspeed options.
