Help! Need ideas... roadtrip songs.

I am driving off to Penang in a week or so. I am sick of the cds I have cut by now. I am trying to compile new CDs of car/driving/roadtrip songs. I would appreciate your ideas and contributions of songs so I can download off the Net. Whats your fav driving music?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the ideas guys. I have nearly 2,000songs on my PC and a lot of them have been cut onto cds. Wife is sick of my songs and I hate the local stations -- the djs just love listening to themselves talk. I am always tempted to call up and remind them (the DJs) that people listen to music first and not the DJs who think them are so righteous or funny. Thats why the Malaysia stations are by far much better -- all music, and wider range and less talk.

Anyway, main thing I look for is a good singable song with thumping beat. Keeps me awake esp on highway driving. But no Eagles: Good sing-along tunes but you just want to kill yourself whenever you hear them... make so much $$ and yet always sound depressed or desperate.

Marc H: I have quite a few of those songs suggest already. My fav driving song: Radar Love.

Rei: Metallica: Dint the drummer lose an arm after a car crash? Not a good image when you are driving fast at night!! ;-)

Chox: Hokkien songs eh? Problem is that my hokkien is not so chim and I will not know the lyrics! I might down load a few to see how. Probably land up more focus on trying to understand the words than on driving!!

Genesis: Thanks for in heads-up. I will pop down to the gas station to look see.
