The Taylors used a completely standard car - a VW Golf FSI1.6 - breaking the manufacturer's official consumption figures of 14.3 km per litre by more than 55%.

On the note of Fuel effiency thru driving style ... ive been effortlessly achieving 8.3km/l on the average for the past 6months of driving my Auto8. However, the last two tanks short changed me of about 50-60km.. bringing it down to 7.2km/l.
Any idea why? Shell 98 quality not as lean as before, never STIR properly? And nope, I did not gain any weight..
