Hi guys. I've seen several posts on this forum regarding this topic. However, would like to share something with you.

I juz bought my 6MT rx-8 from MM last week and recently received an SMS from the car dealer. She said that they received a new memo from Japan which says only to use Mineral Oil and not synthetic.

Personally, I know next to nothing about engine oil - juz thought of sharing this latest update with you guys.

When u go for ur next service at MM, ask for the official memo from Mazda Japan (2004) that say that u can use synthetic oil. Maybe 2006 RX8 use only mineral but tks for the info anyway. Its better for u to see the actual memo instead of hearing from the SE. Ask her to fax to u lor or show u next time u go down the showroom.

Well, if the info that legendary receives is true, the memo is from Japan, not MM. But as with most things in this site, take it with a pinch of salt and verify it for yourself before you accept it as absolute truth.

I dont think she would say something like that unless its true (she actually sent me an SMS last week to stress the point). Anyway, from what I've read on this forum, synthetic works fine. Juz thought that you might want to know this latest "development".

 

I think the chick is making her move on you..... 1st sms to you... telling u shes prefers mineral oil .....

THe next sms, shell tell u dont waste money to buy synthetic (rubber), natural mineral oil will do... Careful, when you do your 5k servicing on her, remember to make her bleed.... THOROUGLY

Actually, i don't think its too far fetch. I know a friend's dad who married his (BMW) car sales person. At his age, i don't think it was the size nor how well he can use the shifter that was important to her.

Maybe Legendary is living up to his nic? He can pull them from all sorts of angle.

We were implying that he was a Legendary Stud! Abusive? Thats insulting... something you use in relation to cases involving maids, wifes animals or girl/boyfriends. I don't think we were anywhere near that level!!

If anything we were sucking up (in a non-physical way... in case you think we are "gaying" up) to him. I guess this explains why in Singapore we only talk about safe topics... food and more food.. since anything else, may "insult" people! Die like that!
