Ah..mm... Actually that is gymkahana. It is a cross between autocross and drifting. It lets you get use to the handling of the car by making you go through a tight cone course. Often the fastest way around the cone would be to drift around the cone rather than turn around the cone. Its origins also belong to japan :P where space for a full autocross is hampered by the sometimes lack of space.

There are gymkahana event as well as grassroots motorsport event happening in Malaysia which you can check out. Althou the event are kinda far up.
