no no...its good....but i think virus is changing suspension, this model of cusco strut does not accept the new cusco suspension(strange but true)....so have to sell this cusco (AM model) and buy the other model (AMN model).

Both models are almost identical...no difference in design or funtionality...just that the mounting is a little different. good buy for those who are not thinking of changing suspension. Its cusco...and only $180.

bro,

I'm not using any of the strut bars here

of course 4 pt mazdaspeed or autoexe would be nice.

in fact auto exe would be really nice becoz u can keep the engine cover.

but the alutec looks pretty strong and the other day some members here

who actually have it in their ride said they are pretty happy with it.

looks good and serves it's purpose.

i'm ok with the comment that alutec strut bar is a joke

but not so nice for those bros here using it rite?

but just makes me wonder, how do u determine which strut bar is the best?

4pt, 2pt? material? design? test report?

Alutec just looks really big but i think its for a purpose. Strut bars are meant to be stiff. If its a hollow 1 inch aluminium tubing; better off not using.

Any stiff strut bar is good. Best if light, strong and looks good. Cusco has CF bars but not sure if there is one for the 8 but the ones for EVOs/WRX looks really good.

i was referring to the alutec strut bar that has a rotary logo in the middle of the strut. If i offend anyone with that, then i apologise, that strut just does not give anyone a sense of security from the looks of it.

As to producing every test report for every single strut, i tink its a bit too extreme for that. The brand name itself cab give u the assurance. Get some brands that is reliable n proven and u r comfortable with it, that shld be the best brand to urself. That is afterall an item that will help u improve ur handling, if u go for proven brands, they have all the research and technology to back them up,so u shldnt go wrong.

Its juz like an air intake for the rx8. The japanese always get the intake rite, the dimensions, y it shld be this way or that way. But u throw this same item for other countries to replicate, there will always be idling problem, when everything looks identical. That is the best example.

*The red one belongs to rx8.

i wonder why they put the rotary logo in the center....unless you are going to remove the engine cover

put this strut bar cannot put the engine cover, unless cut the side of the cover... but then the purpose is to "show off" the rotor in the centre
