But I didn't expect RX8 to have such high EGT. This sound only happen in 1 of my ride, and it was boosting 1.5bar, and the throws flame.

en en, i have the same, sounds like the exhaust cracking right? like plastic breaking apart type of sound right? when you go outside the car near the exhaust area then can hear. I think its normal. hahaha.. think so lar, i used to be so paranoid with noises. but always only make me stress, then i send my car to my mechanic almost everyday. so now i just ignore the noises and wait for any problem to come then only repair la. just enjoy the car better then getting stressed over it the whole time. Im so paranoid that i keep turning off radio, a/c just to have a really clear environment to hear noises. sighz, so stressful.

Its normal to have tick tick or crackling sounds from the exhaust or hot areas.

hahaha... smart ***...

confirm gurantee and chop is from the exhaust. i check it out immediately after i switch of the engine. a little stupid...

have been stressing over it for weeks... cant believe it...

another thing to reconfirm.... the leaking of aircon water oso happens during this time... just to double confirm tat it is normal too...

That's not leaking of aircon water...... Water appears due to condensations of hot air from engine met with cold air from aircon compressor there.... It's kinda normal......

no problem
water condensation on the surface is coming from the atmosphere and not from the water inside ....think of the water droplets on a cup of cold water ....the water droplets do not come from the water in the cup....it the water vapors condensing on the cup surface due to the lower temperature as compared to the atmospheric temp.

same theory applies
