Cooling mods

Hi guys,

Has anyone upgraded their oil cooler or radiator to aftermarket units yet? The Koyo all aluminum radiator and the HKS oil cooler kit look good for the $$.

Some of us did the atf cooler. Someone is suposedly organising a group buy for a hayden atf cooler.

How much is the koyo and hks units? Whats matters is whether it works well. Looking good is nothing if it does not perform. And how much? An ADM atf cooler is supposedly around $250-$300.

See modification of auto trans thread. https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...&goto=lastpost

I have already ordered the HKS ATF cooler. It costs $750 inclusive of installation and steel braided lines. The HKS oil cooler costs around $1600 and the Koyo radiator should come in under a $1000.

Way under $1000, try $349 shipped! Check forum vendor Injected Performance thread here.

I'm in the process of installing mine. I'll monitor the engine coolant temps with my Defi gauge in the coming weeks.

adrian-1, I think evolvix is talking about $1000 in Singapore dollars and you are talking about $349 in US dollars. Gotta check which region and what currency when talking about dollar values. Having said that, the Koyo radiator should still be less than S$1000.

Oops, I usually just check the "new posts" and stumbled onto this one. I didn't know I was in the Far East/ Asia section.

Yes, let's see if the Koyo will reduce the temp
