CNY drive to Frasers Hill

Anybody interested to take your baby out for a drive to Frasers Hill on either Feb 1st (Wed) or 4th (Sat)? You wud have a good time taking her thru the twist and turns!

Besides the cool air, Frasers offers horse rides, boating and also the most expensive but delicious scones with strawberry & cream in Malaysia.

Cheers.

Dude, horses for members with families mah! You single, only looking out for chicks.

Thinking abt it, maybe shud not include family as half the time they wud be throwing up with the way we are going to drive.

I am planning to go up thru Kuala Kubu Baru and come down from Bentong side. You game!

Rimman: Its a great drive. The part from bentong via the Karak Highway... you will need all your revs to climb! Its one of my fav drives. Take some pictures! (I had some photos of the views from the last trip but cant show due to change of girlfriend!!)

I also love the Mersing kampung roads up to Kuantan. Lots of twisty turns, lots of downshifting/upshifting and accelerations around bends.. all along a coastal road -- great for the RX.

Another is up to Camerons: The bit off the North-South, rural road up top Camerons is fantasitc for the RX... lots of up shift n downshifting.... windows open and feel teh fresh cool mountain air.

Planning of doing another road trip up to Penang in March. Love the part before Ipoh thru the tunnels etc.

Mr Lennon,

Poor excuse man! With your turbo car, it only takes 1 hour to reach KKB!

Jaii, plan to go either 1 or 2 Feb. Kena kerja on Sat!

Lowrider, bentong - karak is a breeze compared to Frasers Hill. U wud really luv it! It has the same twist and turns as Camerons, only shorter and less vehicles.

Give us a buzz next time you are down!

Rimman: I did both actually. I did the Cameron's roadtrip from SG (non-stop) a couple of times with different gf's, same car. ;-0)

I think i nearly burnt out my clutch the second time... more familarity with the twisty roads, more aggressive with the gear shifts. She was probably thinking, I was spending more time on the gear **** and less on the other!!

btw. Is it me or are there less cops on the North-South nowadays? Less incentives to work hard?

I am currently still stuck on 9 outsanding summons for a while now. I had provided the coffees each and everytime but they got me with camera photos (even back from '99!!) And out of my moral principles, I refuse to kena double jeopardy. So haven't paid the official ones.

yo mista lowrider,I would say one of the best place to do a long endurance run is the east west highway that connects Kelantan and Kedah..near Thai border..we can stop at Tasik Banding..damn nice..the roads are twisty and all..ultra rural..

*i smell nurburgring :P*

and not to mention the road leading to Padang Besar,Perlis.Take the "off" road passing Chukai,Perlis..you will pass the tebu plantation..fuh i tell youuuu the view is ultra awesome, road quality are mediocre though because the lorries use that road alot..but its super enjoyable.

heeeheee

Devil: How far n how long do you reckon it is to drive up there from SG to the Thai border? Some billboard at the 2nd link her says its 888kms to Hatchai/Thai border? seems much longer to me. What sort of view are we talking about here? Mountains?
