Hi guys,

I am looking for an in car NAV system for the RX8. I have tried showmap on my Palm PDA phone, but looking for a full in car system. I have heard that some will not work in covered areas such as a car park or tunnel, and the problem integrating into the factory dash as most only fits 1 DIN configurations.

Any recommendations?

 

Since we're on this topic, has anyone made any use of the in-built monitor since the nav-sat does not work in Msia.

 

yea, i converted mine into a DVD/VCD etc etc player.

 

where did u install the player? mind posting a pic?

I installed it at the back centre console where it suppose to be the navigation CD ROM player. I removed that and installed a single din head unit... having said that, I actually regret a little cause its to control it while driving as the remote cannot detect through the console, so have to open the cover to control it, I recommend somewhere reacheable

 

Well recommand you VDO which work in areas such as a car park or tunnel not a problem
