Hi guys, m new to this forum, anyway just wanna pass some remarks abt a PI..

Hv been shopping ard for 2 mths to get a new ride, probably RX8, mainly for the look, called a few PIs for the 8, diff package diff price. This particular dealer I called was the 1st, offer me 95k for auto 4 and 105k for 5MT (COE just reached 10k+), comes with HID, 2 tone leather, reverse sensors, no electric seats, no auto fold mirror, no cruise control, as for MP3 and tinted windows, he hv to check and promise will call me back.

A mth passed, no news from him, happened tat I was away, but m still interested in his offer cause he has most of the things I wanted, so when I came back to sg I rang him, he told me price gone up, 98.9k for auto and 108.9k for 5MT now, MP3 add 800 and car originally comes with tinted window, cause it looks black (his remarks). Bros here, one question, all ur rides comes with the original tinted windows? And he said he din mentioned 2 tone leather... only 1 tone. I was like WTF....so sian dealing with ppl like him.

 

jdm comes wif tinted rare standard. 2 tone 1 tone no diff in price cuz all done locally. advice is to look ard and no need to go wif him even if price damn attractive cuz u might be saving on **** service.

 

Hi, I can understand that some PI come up with funny tricks..anyway it comes original with black tinted window and fabric seat.

 

All the price has gone up due to PAP had anounce that the number of COE release will be reduce a later date

 

Since u didnt buy or sign on the dotted line, no fault from PI. Many shop advertised low to get u down there. If u had signed and get everything in black and white, then diff story. Buying car in Spore is most tricky, how to expect him to honour an old price when COE went up by 2 to 3k?? and no contract was signed in the first place??

Ripper: YOu can't rip (no pun intended ;-) ) on the PI to be fair. COE prices are published twice a month. He can't be expected to hold prices esp if nothing has been signed in black & white a month before that? They are a profit making organisation and can't be expect to so charitable. Thats the chance you take if you wait -- sometimes it goes up but sometimes, if you are lucky, teh prices falls.
