NEED INFO ASAP PLEASE :

4Auto owners : damn... how do i start... ok here goes, you know the gear console there got P,R,N,D does it have lights when you turn on all the lights? as in when its in the night and you turn your headlight etc etc on. Got light on those letters or not? haha coz today i sent my car for servicing and suddenly i realise no light, not sure if had or not coz didnt really pay attention to it as it has a display on the speedometer area also. Hope for your quick replies.

 

it got a dim red light if im not mistaken.will check

 

When you turn on your lights (i.e the first turn on the light stalk), all the buttons and the central LCD display and your transmission mode (the one you're asking) will all light up. Turn the stalk again and you'll switch on your main headlights.

I also got a question... there's a alphabet "M" in the tiptronic mode for Autos at the gear shift. I didn't notice it before, but now I see that it is lit even when I'm not in "manual" mode. Hope this is normal... oh by the way it looks cool... sorta like a BMW M-series logo... hahahahah....

Hi guys. Is it true that there may be some problems with the gearbox for the 8? pls advise. tks!

 

i heard from Garage R today that the delay in delivery is due to the gearbox.
