Any pearl white owners?

Hi guys and gals,

I am planning to get a Pearl White Rx8. Any of you own one? Is the paint a problem, I am more concerned with black spots, chips from road tar and debris.

I currently have a black car and it isn't easy to maintain as well. Just want a change....

Thanks
tb

Me. Wash at least once a week and wax at least a few section. These few days are dreadful; the stupid haze.

Me too. I think it's alrite leh. I don't wash it that often as well (lazy lar =p) but I think it still looks fine. I do get stubborn spots which are hard to remove but honestly, you only notice it if you are looking. For most passerbys, they may not even see it.

Not really.
Not if there are idiots out there who decide to emphasize the car's filth by writing on it..

Or does that only happen to me?

I had people touch my car but not write on it. Maybe my coat of dust is not thick enough to get the emphasis. Though this few days my car is the dirtiest it has ever been. Damn haze.

The haze reminds me of driving in fog. Except its dirty, humid and smelly.

Hi all white Rx8 owners...

Thanks for your help, just found out today that the Mazda dealers do not have the Pearl White.... aargh!!!

And the price difference between the PI's and Mazda dealer is quite close... I'd rather get the 3 year warranty. So i guess the closest thing to white is silver....

Silver is fastest.....

Cheers

If you are going to respray.

1) get another shade of white. multi-chromatic white or so
2) get a good workshop. good paintjob is more valuable than saving the few hundreds
3) you have to inform LTA of change of colour
4) may affect value as buyers will ask why you re-spra. eg. accident or lack of care?
