I beri keen of getting a RX8 soon. But getting a 2nd hand instead... due to $$$

Can anyone advise on wat the diff btwn 4AT and 6AT?? ProS & conS??
I really noe nuts about cars...

I would really like to advice u, but the person with experience racing a 4AT and 6AT, just got banned. Hopefully he will be back to answer your question once the ban has been lifted. Meanwhile, stay tune and dun go "WoW" and gaga over the car!

 

well there's a diff between the 6AT & 4AT, the transmission for the 6AT is the same as the 6MT therefore its faster then the 4AT, but of course 6AT still loose out to any turbo charged and modded 4AT lah....if you never mod ur 6AT

 

6AT = Better...

Its not...there is alot more to the AT trans than taking a 6MT trans and slapping a torque converter on it.

The paddles are neat on the AT...but the MT is definitely for me...in so many ways...

Does the 6AT, have the DAIS-S system? like the 6MT there is an extra buttefly connected to the intake pipe. thats why its more powerful and 6 port.
