2 weeks old and it happened..
So
Got my 8 2 weeks ago. Blissfully happy with the car, no complaints, drives like a dream etc etc.. and got banged up for it.
I was on the way back from Shah Alam towards Damansara when it happened. After NKVE toll plaza, there were a few bikers/mat motors/********* zooming past me, racing with each other. When I reached the Bandar Utama flyover, an idiot zoomed n crashed into his mates. Bodies n bikes was all over the road. I slowed down to a halt coz there was a piece of the bike on the road n I dont fancy getting it stuck under my car (of coz with no intention to help the morons)
Then a bike hit me. I didnt even see it coming. I was pissed off, pulled my handbrakes and opened my door. Then I thought better, closed the door and took off. Yes, with the piece under my car. Dragged it all the way to Uptown coz there was roadblocks n **** there. I'm sure if I had gotten out of the car, they WILL beat the **** out of me, n smash my car. I think there was about 30? of them? Anyway the cops there told me to go to State PJ station to make police report. The sargeant in charge even said that I did the right thing to leave the scene. Remember the bloke who got beaten up to death in Perak for confronting these mat motors? Those bastards...
I see these types of moronic display of 'heroism' every weekend. N I ALWAYS back off n let them do their ****. My advise to everyone here, back off when you see these morons in action, if possible pull over then let them tear down the street first. What's pissing me off now is that, if the accident had happened due to my own carelessness (speeding, jumping the light etc) then it wouldnt hurt as much. I just got the car for 2 weeks ffs! I didnt even slam the brakes, I was slowing down to a halt. The guy who hit me saw the accident, and he still hit me? I didnt get his plate numbers (of course) and I dont even know what happened to him. tbh, I dont care.
Damage:
Left tail light smashed
Bumper and bootlid smashed
Rear window cracked (thank god for vkool or it wouldve broke into a 1000 pieces)
No damages sighted on either side of the body. Nor is my stock exhaust.

Dont know what's the next step. Looks like I'm gonna have to order all those parts from Mazda Japan. Anybody has any tips or suggestions pls get back to me. It's off to the shop on Monday. oh man.......i think i almost know how u feel .......it must be gutted for just 2 weeks.......i have similar problem also with so called 'mat rempit'........the situation happened dekat dgn pan pacific/the mall area.....weekend mlmx2 ade je race motor...there is one time i was stopping at the traffic light. Then...this idiots semua dtg and also stop kat the same traffic light beside me. And i accidently terpandang dorang...oh man...that was an eeerie feeling man....I was like panic and dial up the volume....and then i just let them pass through...even the car behind me dont dare to horn me bcoz i halt at tostand still for about 10 seconds.......i guess he also understood d situation...my car dont have any scratches and all but they were like purposely close to my car with their knees touching my car....uurgh....i was like freaking out that time...........anyhoo...i guess u dont have any choice in replace those tail light....since bumper belakang kene.,ape lg..tukar tuners lain punye bumper la....hehe...abis la duit raye,.......

Jai, i might know a fella who sell a RX8 half cut in KL. This fella approach Jacky from Amoil n ask whether there's anybody interested. If you planning for an insurance claim better get a new one from Singapore. Better luck next time cos mat rempit is just far too annoying and if any of these jerks knock my car, i make sure he pays with his hands n legs.

hey,tat's nothing... i was robbed in KL, luckily they're jus after my money... they blocked me with one car at either end and came out with parangs... the worst thing they've done to my car was jus smashing my window. SO i drove back to singapore without air con.... anyway lucky for u, those bikes might be up to someting...

There's this place in Desa Sri Hartamas, which is selling some R-Magic bodykit. You might be interested. FYI u can order RX8 body parts from Mazda Malaysia. The rear windscreen is the most expensive part, not shocking I guess. They can also order MazdaSpeed parts, but "it will take longer to arrive because we have to order straight from our parent company in Japan." 
when I asked where my parts are coming from, they said "we have our network". Well I can get the stock parts after raya, so that's sooner than I expected.
Am seriously considering Mazdaspeed rear bumper & spoilers (for now), anybody with anything pls reply. Thanks in advance.

a piece of advice, mazdaspeed rear bumper is just a diffuser piece attached on top of the rx-8 original rear bumpers.
voyager, the R-magic only come with front and side no rear included... price = RM8000

Then again, take this chance to totally mod the rear end. I definately would if it happened to me.
I always wanted to totally replace the boot-lid with carbon-fibre and add a wing. Wanted to also replace the rear diffuser and bumper. Maybe change the 2 tail-pipes to 4 like a M5.
I believe your insurance in MY can pay you in cash right? Just top up the difference.
