My apologies for creating some work for you guys.... Just some suggestions to make sure we take care of each other, and to make the event more enjoyable
THOUGHTS"
Convoy 3 is gonna be a fairly Big group... It will be a challenge to convoy all 15 or more cars up(a few more might come if slots still available at last min), esp on road near Sepang.
Drivers driving at different speed will also increase the gaps and might result in distancing from each other. No problem for small groups but bigger groups would be helpful to have abit of coordiation.
SUGGESTION"
Just some thoughts. Perhaps we can group Convoy 3 into 2 groups one led u JetBlast(First Car) if you dont mind, and another by another person familiar with the way to Sepang. U and the other person can constantly keep a lookout to make sure the 7 or 8 cars under your care so they dont get lost. Especially look out for the ladies
You and the other person can appoint a last car in the group, so the last car can always radio the leader if something happen to the in betweens car.
It will be good if the leader or the last man can have the HP no. of all the pp in tat group.
If we can appoint the leaders and last man now, perhaps group the 2 groups now, get each other numbers... we can save abit of time when we leave tat morning. I have almost everyone's number here.... I can PM it to the leader or last man.
I can lead the 2nd group if we cant find someone to lead. No worries. But I will need to be in Sepang on time, so my group and last man might have to FLY with me if we are running late

If you are not able to get hold of one, please make sure you have AutoRoaming for your HP. If for whatever reason you are lost, we will not be able to reach you.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Like JetBlast pointed out, please be on time that morning. Enrollment need to be completed by 8:30am in Sepang so that everyone can get ready, warm up engine, and start on time at 9am. If we are late for Enrollment, the schedules will be pull back and pp will be rushing to get on track or to attend the classess. It will great if we reach there on time, enrol, have a breather, attend the briefing... and start the event on the right "track"

I think what DonJuan is suggesting is to do some planning beforehand. Sure we can just brief 5 mins before we set off, but since we have the benefit of time, why not discuss some plans now instead of leaving it until the last minute? If there are some latecomers on the actual day, then we might be pressed for time.

i've 1 middle car to take care of any breaks in e convoy, 1 roving sweeper to maintain e speed n formation and 1 rear sweeper.
convoy will travel at 150 minimum in close formation until e first fuel stop
thereafter speed will be adjusted based on distance covered n time remaining
i will move off at 4am sharp regardless of strength
so please arrive with at least 3/4 tank, set your walkie talkie to 5-19 prior to arrival, parked your car n gather around e stone bench outside macdonald's before 3.50am.
if u are late just tune in on 5-19 n head straight for the highway.
