Ebay INGS+1

Anybody out there have any experience with xcessmotors on ebay and their INGS+1 rear bumper exhaust shrouds?

Ive seen one ebay replica in person(not sure who made it), and the shroud part was easily 1/2 inch off from being flush with the center plastic portion.

only 70 bucks shipped, anybody know what a shop would charge to have these painted?

Also, in your opinion, does the ings dip down too low with the factory appearance package sides?

or does it kind of match up?

anybody have any pics of that?

For 70 bucks, and being both a small item, and polyurethane, I doubt fitment will be a problem. Not a lot of distortion is possible due to how small it is, plus being polyurethane means it is extremely flexible and can easily be forced to fit if out of whack.

Best bet is to get quotes from local shops for the paint. I would assume in the 100-200 range.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I've never seen one of these fit well and I've seen at least half a dozen in person over the years.
Hard to tell which company made the reps I've seen but be prepared that your shop will have to fill / mold to get it to fit flush. Add paint to that as well and you're into these for about 5 bills

That's pretty cheap. You could paint it yourself if you want to save money. Just buy the spray paint kit for your car color.

ive seen darkness's BB rx8 in person with ebay reps and the shroud portion wasnt flush with the center plastic piece. Other than that it fit okay.

Im thinking hopefully this companies replica is decent, if not since its just that portion i think i should be able to just trim away with a cutoff wheel on my dremel and then just fill it in.

Darkness said he would paint it for me in my body color for 20 bucks plus paint cost.

Any comment on how it would flow with the appearance package skirt?

I bought, rather, tried to buy, those exact same pieces. *STAY AWAY* I paid on the same day, instant transfer. After 4 days it was marked as shipped. Didn't get any tracking info. After a week I contacted them asking for a tracking a number. Never got a reply. Waited another 4 days, sent another message for the tracking and letting them know I'm going to file a claim. Never got a reply. After 2 weeks of no communication, no shipping info, and my prompt payment, I had to file the claim for my money back.
