Exclamation GO FUND ME: Paul Thomas @ Mazmart

Just found out last night that our brother in Christ; Paul Thomas at Mazmart; had a stroke back in September. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him, both physically and financially. Fortunately he’s been spiritually well equipped by the Lord and has the drive to continue forward. However, and please forgive me if I’m speaking out of line here, my understanding is that he not only has some speech and physical disabilities to overcome, but also a lack of medical insurance. That likely means he’s also unable to work and be gainfully employed for quite a while.

I’ll otherwise let his loving sister speak on his behalf, as she started a Go Fund Me page seeking assistance from those who have it within their heart to help our rotary brother from another mother out:

Anyone whoever dealt with Paul knows what a genuinely sincere, kind, caring soul he has. Always patient and willing to help out. Now he’s in need of our patience and help. If you can find it within yourself to also give him a sincere, kind, and caring hand up, no matter how small, it’d be greatly appreciated. I must confess that there’s nothing; and I mean NOTHING, which lifts my soul up more than to selflessly help someone in real need.

Paul is in real need. Please help if you can, even if only in your prayers and thoughts.

For those in Christ and anyone else who might choose to see, some final words: https://classic.biblegateway.com/pas...3&version=AKJV

God speed for our brother to recover and get back on his feet again. Thank you.

I have had the privilege of knowing Paul for quite some time, first interacting with him when he was the long time face of Mazmart (an RX8Club Vendor for many years). Paul is one of the most genuine, caring, and humble human beings I've ever known and he would always bend over backwards to help a friend, forum member, or even a potential customer.

It was amazing to finally meet the Man, the Myth, the Legend Paul when he flew into town for SevenStock 13 (crazy to think that was almost 10 years ago now)

Team, thank you for posting this up as I too just last night found out about Paul's recent medical condition and from someone who watched his grandfather struggle for 10 years with the side effects of a stroke, my heart aches for Paul and his family right now.
I know 2020 has been a crazy year for many of us but Paul truly has been dealt a tough hand with his recent stroke. I know his resolve is strong, his faith iron clad and through the support of friends and family Paul will get better.
Stay strong Paul, we're all rooting for you to make a speedy recovery!

I know Paul would never ask anyone for help but if anyone can help, be it sending him a positive message, giving a small prayer, or even donating to his GFM, I know he will be eternally grateful.

Here's a picture of Paul from SS13.

P.S. We normally do not allow go fund me type threads as they get out of hand but I approved of this one seeing as it's a fellow rotor head in serious need.

It was great to meet Paul a couple of times at DGRR, I sure hope “The Mazda Man” makes a full recovery.

Yeah, I have known for sometime, like many weeks and Paul is somewhat reserved, telling me how he moved into his mums after stroke, I kept on emailing him every few weeks asking how he is (Mazda Parts Guys stick together).

I had no idea or did not think about his finances as at the time I was enquiring about an Aussie member here wanting RX-8 Coils, I suggested Mazmart.

Anyway, Paul is probably the greatest Mazda Parts guy I have ever known, impeccable service, always willing to help, a true Christian and a man I am very proud to call a friend.
I will obviously help him where I can and will now push this Go Fund Me for Paul.

COME ON LETS GET TO $150k fast!!

Yikes, Paul Thomas really got socked in the face by 2020! I sent his GoFundMe the money that was for my next RX-8 parts order. The parts can wait! Hang in there, Paul!

IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER in FORUM or from another Country PLEASE consider

a donation of $10 USD to the GO Fund Me https://gf.me/u/y7i535, or even $5 USD, to help Paul

or any Amount will help, 2020 has been a horrible year for the world for all of us.

Paul is seriously ill with no health insurance, still a young guy.

Please Help a Mazda Man.
