Welcome Pack and Brochure?

Am I meant to receive all this? What is the deal with the website username and login too?

Been on to the helpline this morning and they were very unhelpful.

There seems to be very little consitency with all these orders and dealer. Some users on here have had a brochure for a few weeks now and my local dealer hasn't had any.

WTF?

I also received a letter and brochure couple of days ago which would suggest that Mazda have never heard of me. I think this was in response to me logging my interest on the web in the car many moons ago.

I have since spoken to Mazda who confirm that my car is ordered and my EP number. However, I should have received a order confirmation notice which they are re-sending.

Re-sending ?

Has *anyone* received a confirmation notice (other than the Japan trip) - 'cause I have not !

I understood we were supposed to receive a confirmation 'pack' within 7-10 days of out EP numbers (now 13 days ago).
Think there are some crossed wires somewhere....

Perhaps they need to get the Japan business out of the way first. Still hoping someone on the forum wins it .....

I received the brochure, but I think that is because I registered on the pre-order site again last week.

When I called the helpline last Friday to say I hadnt received the Japan trip details (which I still havent received in the post) they told me that my order IS on the system and i WILL be receiving a welcome pack soon.

It seems like they havent totally got their act together yet, as there is very little communication to all of us.

Ive actually had more details on the 350Z pre-order from Nissan as I registered with them a while ago. Got an invite to go to the local Nissan dealer to pre-order earlier this week!

Lets hope we get some more details very soon.

I wonder if anyone will be getting a call from Mazda tomorrow re Japan??

Angry

If it's any consolation, I've had no order confirmation yet!

Dealer quoted 10 days.

Cheers

well it appears this is happening the world over as, even though mazda usa and my dealer both agree that my order is loggged in, it's 2 months today that the dealer put my order in the computer and i still don't have a confirmation email. i am here to tell you that it is very frustrating. at least you in th UK are getting things through the post. all we are getting is emails and my dealer still doesn't have any brochures.

Maybe they're finalizing orders in blocks to make best use of the production lines. People ordering popular colours and options might expect to have their orders confirmed quite quickly, because Mazda's market research will have already told them that they're a safe bet.

Those of us picking something more unusual (hi/blue/leather here) may have to wait a little longer while they figure out demand.

Just a theory...

I hade a single page confirmation letter confirming my order had been placed, along with an invitation to enter the Japan trip, through the mail about three days after making my order.

There were no mention of a password for the website, although it did state a welcome pack would follow (still waiting).

Have recieved the new brochure though, so I assume these are nothing to do with the orders but are related to registering your interest on the website.
