Hi All, Excellent NEWS.

Official press release from the Mazda U/K monthly round-up/ update via www.mazdarotaryclub.com today,

28th February saw the Mazda RX-8 advance order web site , www.mazdaRX8.co.uk
go live , where customers who want to be the first in the queue for the unique rotary sports car
can pay a deposit of £1000.
ln the first WEEK the site saw 360 customers place a deposit , there will be ONLY 3,500 RX-8 vehicles available to U/K customers during 2003

To put this in prospective there are only around 500 Gen 3 RX-7s on the road in the U/K .

that's nice of them to give you a number on orders. i have asked twice now for an aproximate order quantity (even a rough guess of how many in the first few weeks) and they just say it changes all the tim and they don't have that info in front of them. they seem to be playing it very close to the vest and don't want to say imho.
