At the weekend I saw some brushed (or so called) items, the strakes and the crest. The finish looked very similair to that of silver Airfix paint, not quite what expected. I think I may have to opt for the polished, althogh have not seen yet!

Saw rotary crest at my dealers on Friday. Polished is very nice and not too highly polished but brushed is a joke. They are not brushed at all, instead the have been painted a distressed grey colour and whilst may look okay from a distance look crap close up. I did not see the fins in brushed but if they are the same then they will look tatty at close inspection.

But (polished) fins will change the shape of the car and will go well with crest and sport exhaust on a tit grey, brushed will not go with tit grey(IMHO).

Also: having my Trackstar system fitted will delay my delivery slightly.

Have either of you Priory guys got a date yet (sorry if I've missed it)?
They phoned me last week and said they will be getting their demonstrator on the 31st of this month, when they will have a day for viewing by pre-orders and will book our test-drives then. They also said mine will turn up the first week of November (supposedly).

I went for the polished for this reason. While my dealer ddn't have any actually examples he did show me "similar" colour examples on an MX5 and Mazda8.
