Some more info
Here are some details I received from our friends at Mazda today:
1. They are working on the delivery dates this week. It is complex as they are trying to plan production to ensure that we all get our cars in the order we placed our orders . They also need to plan the demonstrators and formula woman cars. One interesting point is that they want to minimise any stock they have lying around, in order to ensure demand exceed supply.
Initially we we get an inducated delivery month, and then a ready to ship date, which will indicate when the car will be in the UK.
They have also said that future cars will be sold on an order basis only and they will hopwfully not have unsold stock on dealers forecourts.
2. I asked about accessory prices, and they have stated that not all the pricing is not fully agreed so it may change (downwards I hope). They will also look into possible discounts for group orders.
3. Apparently the press launch went well and they are expecting reviews in the next couple of weeks from autoexpress, autocar and topgear mags. Feedback was "very positive".
4. I asked about the cars at Manchester on the weekend, and this was just a stopover and they were not intended to be exhibited. They are going to ask the dealer if there is any chance they can set anything up more formal for this weekend.
5. Production started OK today with no probs, once we have ourletters with delivery month, the website will be updated.
Lots of good news, the next 3 months should be interesting.
Thats all folks.

Good news, cheers Mark.
Could you ask your contacts about the dealers ability to check up on an order using their computer system?
That way we might be able to start making the dealers do some work for a change.:p
