Damn, the news about the supplier of 'Velocity Red' paint going bust and Mazda having to put back production of red cars until next year is TERRIBLE. As Mazda have an over supply of Titanium it's not surprising they are defaulting all the red cars to that colour unless told otherwise by the customers, a smart move when you think about it. Can you live with Titanium Oilman?

Mazda probably have an oversupply of Titanium, because nobody wants it :D

Its nice to think my car probably "exists" now, albeit in several pieces across the other side of the world.

Hope the guys building the rotaries didnt have too much saki last night :D

Yeah, I started off naming another colour but then thought I'd not be so unkind and went for my own...

Does anyone know how long a single car takes to build?

The Americans started to recieve E-Mails from Mazda a day or two after their cars were built informing them of VIN numbers etc.

How long do you think it will be before we start receiving this information?

Given by Mazda UK's past history of transferring information to us I am expecting the e-mails in Decemeber.

Am I right in thinking that I read that the dealers can now track the progress of the build on the cars?

I think your right, perhaps we should all ask our dealers to check our order status in a few days.
