Tinck, Ive seen mine today with red leather, and if I were you I'd wait for the right car, and jump up and down and complain in the meantime.

This is Tinck's other half (he is in london tonight)- had to read him your replies over the phone! Good news - dealer has sourced him the car due to a cancellation - will be with us for 18 Nov. if not before!! Can't believe it has taken longer for the car to get here than it has for our baby to be delivered! Still worth the wait, can't wait to drive it before i get too big to get behind the steering wheel! Ooh yes he'll probably wish he waited until December afterall!!!!

Did I read tinck's first post correctly... the dealer can get another car for 5th December? How can a new customer be told there's a 5 month waiting list when suddenly this dealer can magic up a car to order within 4 weeks? I'm guessing Mazda must have a priority ordering system for dealers who need it. Hmmm.

I dont believe there is a 5 month waiting list. My dealer told me the other day that they were quoting March delivery, but they have had notification that Mazda has secured more production for the UK due to the car's popularity and any orders placed now should be fulfilled in January.
Even so getting a car for 5th Dec seems a bit quick, but I guess there will be several cancellations coming through.
