Has anyone who ordered sat-nav received an EP number from Mazda UK? I have a theory that sat-nav will not be in the first batch but please (PLEASE!) prove me wrong...

 

Yes , I have ordered Sat-nav and have EP no 296 so don't worry.

 

I'm not sure that the EP number itself will determine the order of delivery. The EP numbers appear to have been issued sequentially as the dealers submit enter the orders, which is not the order in which people actually preordered.

I guess that Mazda at some point soon will work out what order they are making the cars and let us all know.

Of course they will, as they are such an orgainised company..........

 

Thanks everyone. Mazda UK say that my RX-8:200306 number is my valid order ID and it must depend on how you ordered as to what type you get. I ordered through the website, did anyone who has an EP number do the same? I'll bet you all ordered through dealers.

I'm not so sure EP numbers will matter at the end of the day.

It's my understanding that the first batch numbers were fixed a long time ago. I.E. So many Red/Silver/Titanium Etc and Interior combination. I also read somewhere that Customers Orders will be matched to available cars!

One reason I plumped for Red with Red/Black Leather (other than liking it) is to quote the Mazda Press Pack, it's the "Signature" colour for the car with the Red/Black combo.

I may be wrong but I think they will produce more of these than anything else initially.

Oh and Morgan, not just an excuse for my choice in colour! Titanium was my 1st choice but had to have Red/Black leather!
