Red rotor-shaped rear reflector
I was in Derbyshire on business last week and on the drive to Derby passed (ho, ho, ho) a couple (slow) RX-8's. Both had red reflectors set into the rear skirt - where the rotor-shaped emblem is, between the exhaust pipes.
I haven't seen that reflector here in the U.S. - is it only a Brit/Europe thing? If so, I'd love to get one - anyone have the parts number for it?

That's the rear fog light which is fitted on UK cars by default, not sure which other European countries get them. That option is not available in US or Canada but can be purchased through 3rd party vendors and fitted. TheDosDog helped me install mine.

personally i think these specs suck: we get the fog light, headlamp washers which you don't, but you get TPMS and cruise control.

Ah gots me one.....
I put one on. Got just the lamp unit, no wiring harness or switch.
Bought it from Canzoomer.
The real deal is a pain to install, so I wired it into the rear running lights, with a switch to turn it off if necessary.
The bulb is also WAY too powerful to leave on all the time.....
(Duh! it's a FOG light!) so I fabbed up a few LED's in a cluster, to just 'illuminate' it.
Kind of matches the little side running leds.
