Pressure on Mazda
Dear All,
If it is true that the first ship is at port, surley we have a case to argue with mazda that the cars after they have been cleared by customs should be distributed to the relavent dealers. I am sorry, but the statement that mazda have to wait till the 27th for training is not justified. What about us, people that have paid them money and orderd cars - surley the customer comes first? I hope you fellow members understand where I am coming from. If they are under pressure to deliver, they would want to get the cars out to customers asap regardless?. Why train the dealers? Pre order customers just want the car??????????

Well it depends on if they are just training the sales staff or the mechanics that will have to conduct the PDI's and sort out any problems customers have. Also, I am not sure if Mazda are actually delaying until the 27th - I (sort of) believe that they are trying to get the cars to us as quickly as possible.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you won't get your car any quicker by pressurising them.
They will get your car to you when they are ready to offer you a backup in case there is a problem.
Cheers

Dealer pcikup
Apparently, the Service Centre Manager is one of the two people picking the car up from Silverstone, from my dealership.
So I imagine Service Centre Managers will be shown how to PDI the cars on the day, and then filter this down to their staff when they get back.
You could check this by asking who's going to pick your dealers car up. I bet one of them will be service centre staff.

I can't believe that anybody would want their car without being assured of the service centre backup.
It'll come when it comes.
Anybody heard of patience?
