Own up...

...how many of us have rented the Xmen2 DVD this week, just for a little peak of the 'little beauty' in action.

If you have what did you think of the film and the car?

Yip - I've seen the film a few times now.

She sounds good in it.

I bet the even the best DVD home cinema audio system can't beat how it sounds from inside the car!

That's a good point. Does the real sound of the car match up to the sound of the car in the film, cos the one in the film sounded a bit throaty to me.

Movie makers would dub the sound on general principle that nothing can go un-dubed.

No idea why, but its a fact.

I bought the DVD last week as I'm a devotee. The car looks and sounds good but you don't see much of it. As far as I know there is no X-Phone behind the standard console.

Not an 8.

At the risk of bursting some bubbles......

The car in the X-men movie was not an RX-8.

The movie was made long before even the running models where available. The interiors where a non-running handmade 'set', and the action shots where an FD RX-7 with '8' body grafted on.

Original story from May

And of course, the engine note is pure fiction!

cant comment on the car as it was only in it for 3 minutes or less.

Film is entertaining drivel, i bought it cause i like drivel. Thats why i just watched matrix revolutions which is pretty good as well.

Oh and i bought the DVD cause i collect them, collection now tops 1200

That's funny, the DVD won't be released in U.S.A. until November 25th
