Options for those with babies on the way
Options for those with babies on the way
If anyone is interested when I contacted my dealer earlier today I asked about the passenger airbag issue.
He confirmed that only the Mazda car seats would disable the passenger airbag.
I asked for him to send me the details of the seats, which he will hopefully be able to do but he did give me the prices:
Birth to 10kgs £125
9kgs to 18kgs £110
15kgs to 36kgs £99
So I think we will be purchasing the ordinary seat and putting it in the back.

That's what I was going to suggest to you in the other thread! You'll probably find that your missus wants the baby in the back with her for easy access anyway - it was a rare event that I put the baby in the front.
I don't suppose you found out how much the Isofix child seats for the rear were did you?

Don't forget this is Mazda we are talking about here, what sense does any of it make.
Apart from taking peoples £1000 and holding on to it for 6 to 7 months.....

I think the £99 will get a few years use where as the £125 one will only last few months.

The bigger seat will just be a booster seat, without a back.

I'm interested in the Isofix seat which has to have a back as it's anchor is a fitting behind the rear headrest. So Maybe that's the £110 seat?
