one for oilman!

the japanese pre-order customers are getting scale models of their rx-8's in the color that they ordered as gifts from mazda. it even comes with a little case which has their name on a label.
imagine the fun you could have if you had one of these while awaiting the real thing:D

The shutlines on the bonnet dont look very good, hope they are better in real life :D :D

Do you know what scale it is zoom44, its difficult to tell from the pic?

I want one ! I want one !

Already done a search on the net to see if anyone sold models of the things yet.
Other than tiny radio controlled catoonish ones , I cannot find anything.

Not that I am being negative , but do you really expect Mazda UK to do something like that on current form ...?

M.

Okay, I now expect the below model with my name, registration and order number on it, the rotary watch the dealer wrongly showed me, certifcate of new car ownership status signed by Mazda sponsored famous racing driver type, RX8 sports jacket, front RX8 mats with ali heel protection, pen/pencil/torch/lighter combination set in special RX8 tit grey presentation case and ..... "a babys arm holding an apple".

Do you suppose we will get anything in the UK?

If it's true, I'm looking forward to it. The OILMAN does collect model cars anyway. (childhood habit I couldn't kick!)

Cheers

Miata35 was supposed to have ordered me a Rx-8 model, but he has not contacted me and I have sent him numerous PMs but he has not replied.
I probably wont end up receiving it.
