To all of you fellow Newbury Customers:

I spoke to Newbury Mazda yesterday regarding our cars showing up on their system. They can see their dealer car + 4 customer cars, I placed my order & deposit on the 29th of January and was told at the time that I was the first to pre-order with them. If you have not contacted them already, do so - they may have better news for you than me as my car is not showing up on their system. And if anybody does have an update, can they please post it.

If they can see your car, did they tell you when it is being delivered ?

 

They can not see my car - thats why I am so so p***ed off
with Mazda, I placed my order in Jan and still no better off with delivery dates than I was 3months ago.

Saw on another thread that the titaniums are appearing first. I guess the first UK batch produced were Titanium with leather (guess what I ordered!:D ) and so these have been sorted first.

Red might be the RX8 signature colour but they obviously want the classiest colour on the roads first.:p

Joikng apart I think it would be unfair if I got my RX8 before you and some of the other guys just because I ordered Titanim but I get the feeling it might just turn out that way.

 

maybe they are shipping the colours no one else wants first?

Nice one, I have blanked the last three digits now but I ain't that worried to be honest. Unless someone in the know decidescto ring it! :D

Andy could not confirm whether this was the date of the car arriving with them or at the port.

I reckon that the date is nothing to go on personally and think it will be here sooner. I guess I had better get onto Andy and tell him to fit the strakes.

Has anyone ordered the accessories? What is the plan?

When did you order your car from Newbury?, well done on getting your vin no, my salesman at Newbury (won't mention his name) does not even return my phone calls. How have you found the customer service at Newbury?

 

The customer service has been applaing even at Newbury and the salesman there, no names mentioned is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

Andy is very chatty and informative, but I don't get any calls and all information has to be sucked out of them.

I got the Chassis no today after calling Andy and he gave me a date.

I think we have pretty much orderd the same car spec wise, did you go for the sat nav? I didand I recon thats why the car is not showing up on the dealer system. What date have they given you for delivery?

 

Erm as I said above the only date mentioned was the 9th Nov but as that's a Sunday then I very much doubt the accuracy of the information.

All Andy said is that my car was listed on the system along with three others.

I did not order Sat Nav, just Hi-power with leather in Velocity red.
