Mazdaspeed availability in the U.K.
I have been told by my local dealer that Mazdaspeed parts are not available in the U.K. The fact that he didn't initially know what Mazdaspeed parts were makes me think he didn't know what he's was talking about. When (2nd visit) he actually discovered that they did exist, the service manager told me that the "don't comply with European regulations, and they are therefore not allowed to stock them". He also told me that fitting them would invalidate the warranty on my car.
I suspect he is talking rubbish. And it is my understanding that having aproved Mazdaspeed parts fitted at the dealer maintained the factory warranty.
Does anybody know if he is right on either thing (a. - getting parts; b. - installation voids warranty)?
Thanks.

Mazdaspeed parts are not stocked by UK dealers as standard.
However the TW White chain of dealerships (which I think is the largest in the UK) has imported a number of full bodykits from Japan.

Hey, if you don't mind paying 30-50% more, Whites is an option in the U.K.
Check out this thread
RX-8 Club > Tech & Performance > Mazdaspeed/Aftermarket Performance > Mazdaspeed availability in the U.K.
I guess I should have linked them somehow...

I've ended up getting the Mazdaspeed lightened flywheel from www.Japanparts.com. Koji was very reasonable price wise, and efficient. And delivery is to your door... :D
