Driving south this evening.... had a long straight stretch of empty motorway ahead so, as car has done over 2500 miles now, the devil in me thought "I wonder how fast she is....."

Foot down and away we went..... at 7500 rpm we are doing 148 and still pulling....... I decided that was fast enough.... I 'm sure I read somewhere tha this car had a top speed of 146 but given the feel of the car and number of revs spare I'm sure this one of mine would be willing to do at least 160 or even 170 before fuel cut off...

Thanks bro' so I was not going mad.

 

Bear in mind most speedo's are 10% over at that sort of speed. I'll let you know a GPS confirmed figure when mine arrives! (wed!)
