Good Vibes and Success Stories

For some time this forum has been unsure and generally pessimistic in places about the car, mazda and service.

I thought that this would be a good opportunity to set the record straight.

If you have a good story, good vibes, generally pro rather than dis, post it here !!

Was at a shop down the road. Guy comes up to me when I get outside.

Old time RX-7 owner, in the owners club etc. but hasnt got it anymore, had a big lexus, reg RX 7770 lol.

Spent 20min chatting, looking over the car etc. His 2nd gen rx-7 managed 8mpg after a 75k engin rebuild lol.

Was fun. No one ever came up to me in my focus discussing good times in their old escort...

Had a good experience today. Was parked outside a friend's house which was opposite a primary school. When I came out I was confronted by about 50 kids (and their teacher!) shouting, "nice Mazda!" and "open the doors, mate!" I'm not the showing off type but I duly obliged and the reaction was almost hysterical! I dont think even Britney Spears walking down the street would have got so much adulation. Never realised the doors were such a novelty.
Had to then avoid giving too many blips of the throttle when driving off, its not good for the environment.....

Telling one of my neighbours it cost £35k - and he still though it was good value for money!
