Fifth Gear review

Ok, so who's gonna sell their RX8 and follow Tiff's advice and buy the 350Z? Shame they couldn't have got the RX8 on the track too. That would have been worthwhile viewing.

Hey, come on guys, he really liked it. He was always going to like the 350Z more because he's a racing driver and the Z is a track(ish) car.

Nothing negative, I need 4 seats!!

It is a shame that it didn't go against the TT & Z though!!!

Sorry, I was trying to be sarcastic with my first comment. They are quite different cars when you really look at them. One pratical 4 seater, the other not. One capable of carrying a decent amount of luggage, the other not.(not with that strut brace across the boot) One a rotary engine, the other 3.5 v6. So totally different really. It's not just styling or 'Ooh, I don't like the handbrake handle! It's got to be down to personal choice. I doubt that either tonights or last nights top gear review will do much damage to either cars sales. Top reviews both of them.

AnilS, your body language interpretation course hadsn't paid off , he did like the centre console. Want too impressed with the handbrake position (never found this a problem in my test drive).

He also liked the cars styling, the interior, the dials, the high-revving engine, the price, the gearbox, the suicide doors etc etc

I thought, unlike JC's review which consisted of him hooning it round the track, Tiffs review was very proffesional 'old style' top gear.

A lot of usefull information, some of which I didnt agree with, but very much more professional. Which is kinda wierd, as he is the race driver, and JC is the journalist lol.

5th Gear is the old style Top Gear. Most of the presenters and production crew just up sticks when the BBC had a disasterous spell as road hump loving vegitarians.

The new BBC Top Gear is the Jermey Clarkson talk show and promotion for his hooning around videos.

I enjoy both, but 5th gear for objective oppinion and Top Gear for entertainment.

Cheers
---Dave
