Most probably, the date will be 14 & 15 May .

As soon as more details are defined (end of survey, exact place, etc.) I'll come back to this thread with more information.

Until then, I'll be happy to answer any questions...
Please keep us posted. And I hope Rasputin will keep on doing so on the Belgium/Dutch forum too. I would love to meet 8-owners from all over Europe.

Travelled Europe extensively in the past 3 weeks. Saw about a handful of RX8's. Black in Zurich, Silver in Frankfurt, none in Paris or Belgium or Amsterdam and 34 in Athens at one of their local RX8 meets (very cool).

But the one that really stood out for me was a Green one in London at about 3 PM during the last week of September that was burning oil or frying the clutch something ridiculous. Either the person had absolutely no clue how to drive and rode the clutch until smoke emerged and billowed out from underneath the car because the clutch was fried and he was getting no grabbing. I was in a black cab behind him and my heart was bleeding for this guy something awful. Anyone know who this is? Do you know what problem he had ? I know it was a "he" as I saw them behind the wheel and I beleive it was green.

By the way, Europe is beautiful. But no flying down the roads in London as they monitor everything so closely with cameras, or so I'm told.

Most of these cameras are for the Congestion Charge, a Toll to enter central London. The system is based on automatic recognition of number plates.
There are also a lot of CCTV for security also. And a "few" Gatzos (for speeding / red light).

Thanks Fabrice. That now makes a lot of sense.
