There is an international RX8 meeting taking place in May 2005 in Burgunudy, France with French, Belgian, Swiss and UK (although only one so far) members.
It won't be at a racetrack as it is intended as a family meeting over a whole weekend.
Anyone interested can of course come along. Just let us know on this or another thread.

Burgundy is a large vineyards

I'm the member of RX8France.com in charge of this meeting. (Thks Rasputin for promoting our meeting )
Most probably, the date will be 14 & 15 May .
As soon as more details are defined (end of survey, exact place, etc.) I'll come back to this thread with more information.

...The meeting we mentionned above is not supposed to be an European meeting, just an international one with no limitation with regards to nationality, forum membership or even RX8 ownership. If anyone is planning a trip around France at that period, he's definitely welcome to join us and Mag and myself would make all the effort to help you to organise your trip.
The idea of going to italy to see RX8s racing is tempting though

the circuit cant be verry nice, i think if we start to look for it now its posibol to find samthing.
it dont have to be a pro circuit, the pro circuit aro to big fro the HP of the RX8, samthin mor funny.

I clearly understand that people need a motivation to drive such long distance.
This is our 1st big meeting, some of us (rx8france members) have never met.
So our first goal is to take some times to meet each other. That's why it's planned like a "family meeting", and not a "track day".
But I promess it will not be boring
A track day @ francorchamp will probably take place later ...

i im with you but i think we cant make a rx8family meeting on the 1 day and second day fun track day.
we cant make all a wekend meeting and now all the rx8 memenber all along the 2 days.
in the europe meetent you are going to find italian owners, grec members, french members , belgic members,swuiss members, english members, spainish members, Andorra,luxemburg members etc, etc... that is a europe meeting its have to bee big , fun , and nice.
i thinc a europe meeting have to be more than a meeting its have to bee a event, mazda europ have to help us to make the event and invite all of as to a circuit trac or to the belgic mazda center, or a mazda circuit test, this is a mediatic power for mazda to have all of as together in e meeting.

All our club are young (Rx8france, germany, italy, ...) and I'm sure we need some time to build our community. To my point of view, such a BIG EUROPEAN MEETING is feasible in summer 2006.
