i like my midpipe (turboxs) its connected to the stock exhaust and its pretty quiet at idle, sounds nice above 4k rpm, and i DO have a cel

 

Tecnimont, its an engineering and entreprenor company in process industry.

I think they are quite big in Italy, I work as an contractor so I really dont know so mutch about them.

I think they are located in the middle of Italy or more to the north but im not sure.

I modified my TurboXS exhaust race pipe by adding a MagnaFlow HighFlow CAT.

I had this on the RX8 for about 6 or 7 months without any issues. The exhaust pipe without the CAT had a permanent CEL. I also have Scanalszer which allows me to delete the CEL, but it always came back after 2 drive cycles.
Will AccessPort delete the CEL permanently?

I think the best option for both power and NCT compliance is the RX7 Store high flow CAT pipe, http://www.rx7store.net/category_s/300.htm
It is a bit expensive especially when you add the shipping/tax cost from USA. Try ask one of the forum vendors if they can do something along similar lines and maybe even cheaper.

 

Lasse is doing way better products.
They also have a resonator to make them even quieter plus it is not a junk catalyzer but a Ferrita one... that pretty much says it all!

I am not sure but it should be around the 5\600€ mark.
This is because Ferrita catalyzers are very expensive, but they are not as prone to gutting as many other catalyzers do.
I tried 2 brain catalyzers (a 200cpsi one and a FIA homolgate 100cpsi one) and i melted both. Then i switched to ReAmemiya's one and it is still on, with no CELs and no signs of wear of any tipe. I tracked it for 40conescutive minutes at 38°celsius in the summer for several times
This Ferrita one should be able to survive temperatures around the 1100°C mark so i am pretty sure that it will be better than my reamemiya and with a lower cost.
Lars has got some experience in racing rotaries so i trust his word. Consider that if the cat is not available yet it is just because he is TESTING it along with Ferrita if i understood him right!

 

Just to make it clear, its not Ferrita cat, its a HJS Cat.

I have been using Ver 1 for awile and waiting to get ver 2 soon.

That cat will be a HJS Cat used for DTM, WRC etc.

Ferrita is not manufactor any cats, Ver 1 was a ecocat and Ver 2 will be a HJS cat.

They produce only exaust systems.

We do not need to wait and see because I know both Lars and Micael (Managing Director at Ferrita)

But as said earlier, Ver 2 will be one of the best midpipes around for sure.

 

I found online prices for HJS cat's. The 61mm 100 cell cat costs about €600+ shipping. That being the case Lassy's pipe and cat must be very much more expensive. Way too expensive for the average user, IMO.
The 76mm 100cell cat costs about €680.

Do remember that Lasse sell a finished midpipe with one resonated, not only the cat.

Also HJS have different cats, be sure its their 3" DTM cat not a regular (cheaper)

Thanks for that man but I HATE those big loud dirty exhausts I think I'll stick with what I have, those prices are scary!

BTW if anyone in Ireland needs a catalytic converter replaced, I have a better option than Mazda who are charging €1500 + fitting. A company in Naas I think have the same thing for €800 + fitting.

 

I wouldnt bother fitting an non well tested and special addapted cat to our renesis engines, trust me if you go a little lean it will be burnt out quite quick.

i have killed one in only 2000km and its was said to be a tough one.
