Do Mazda read this forum???

Had a phone call this morning which went as follows:

Hello just calling to check some details. Are you still going ahead with your order?

Me: Im still thinking about it.

We just want to check a few details, address, email etc etc

Blah,Blah,Blah

Are you ordering a Velocity Red, Leather, No Sunroof or Nav 240ps model?

Me: Yes, but its not 240ps anymore is it

Er no, it has just changed we only found out about it yesterday. Its now 231ps.

Me: I know and am not really happy about it

You will be receiving a letter shortly will all the details.

Me: Do you know when?

It is being sorted out at the moment

Do you want any insurance or finance info.

Me: Insurance yes, is the grouping out yet?

No, not yet

END
========================

Maybe just coincidence, but

HELLO MAZDA IF YOUR OUT THERE!!!!!

MarkW, I know for a fact that Mazda do read this forum, because they've told me. My dealer is BROOKLYN and you will see him elsewhere in these forums.

Perhaps specific dealers do but if Mazda UK did presumably they would act with more urgency.

MAZDA UK - IF YOU ARE OUT THERE GIVE US A SIGN.

JUst thought it strange that they asked me if I was still planning to go ahead with my order a day after my post on here about thinking of cancelling?

Up until now they have never called me unless returning one of my calls.

Anyone else been asked this?

Someone mentioned here a while ago that it was company policy that they do not participate in forums such as this. Seems a bit daft really.

You may question if Mazda participates in the forum threads but it is obvious to me that they do browse them.

There is a difference between Mazda and their dealers reading the forums.

We do know that MazdaUSA occasionally browses (how often, we don't know), but that doesn't mean that MazdaUK, or other countries do.

Yes, there is a policy about participating on forums such as this, but there is participating, and there is lurking.

Mazda UK

It was me. I was told by Mazda UK that they do look at this forum, but they also said it was against company policy to post onto public forums.

Probably to protect themselves against a slip up by a member of staff.
