Has anyone had contact with their dealer yet ?

I am learning alot about the RX8 release on this site , but have heard no more from Mazda since the demo baby-cd arrived some time ago...

I would have thought they would be contacting people by now.

Anyone had any news ?

PS - It's official. I am going to take the plunge. Need to see the cloth interior though - all pictures I have seen have been leather so far...

My Dealer has let me have everthing and there is now more on Mazda.co.uk. (Order Online £1000 deposit early Feb)

Basically only have UK spec, prices, external colours.
Interior options cloth/leather available stateside on this site.

Check out the Laguna Seca pictures posted on this site today for external colours although, all but Red can be seen at your local Mazda dealer as all but Red are standard.

Mine's Red or Silver with Black/Red Leather! Red looks better outside of show lights and the Mica finish will look stunning.

Cool... photos look great.

Going to see my dealer tomorrow to pump for information etc.
Hoping to find out the answer to the fuel question - i.e. does it run on 95octane like previous rotaries and what the official mpg figures are.

Either way - I am pretty much sold I think... :-)

Going to go for High Power in Titanium with Cloth interior.

Don't think these are available yet but some discussion on main forum.

I'm sold anyway.

fuel figs, 0-60 etc etc should be out fairly soon as the world media has had a chance to put car through paces at Laguna and probably can't wait to tell us the good and bad news.

Would probably cancel if 0-60 was in excess of 6.5secs but unlikely as RX8 is pitched at TT etc. Its prettier anyway and has a rotary! Heaven?

Insurance premiums may be interesting!
