2004 v2003
Its likely that my long awaited dream car will be available before xmas, however, hard though its going to be I'm going to wait untill Jan to pick the car up as this will make it a 2004 car.
I anticipate that this may have benefits when I eventually sell the car on.
Any of you Dec delivery guys thinking of doing the same? and Am I right to wait a few extra weeks??

Hi,
I will not wait. My car will be registered in 2003 - but that doesnt mean a lot.
Position 10 off your VIN nr. indicates the model-year. Mine is a "4" so 2004. If this is a "3" then it is actualy a 2003 car.
You can always show your VIN nr. and refer to position 10 ...
