Not that it's any news that RX-8s will shoot flames from the tailpipes, but I thought this was a nice shot. Captured from my video camera in the Subaru just after shutting down for the session as the checkered flag came out. I blurred the tag, but otherwise the pic is not doctored at all. Quality is low because it was taken from a video.

This particular RX-8 has a Greddy exhaust (sounds fantastic opened up on track) and a K&N filter as the only 'power' mods. For those that like fire, we have found the Greddy to shoot flames more frequently than the Borla. Not typically how we judge exhausts, but someone might want to know that . Additionally, you see flames frequently when following this car on track; often has a bunsen-burner-like effect going, with blue flames often lasting for a couple seconds at a time. Or there are the bright orange flashes like this one. . . .
