ACT Heavy Duty Clutch Kit - ZM8-HDSS - $399 shipped
This is the perfect replacement clutch for the RX-8 whether you are running forced induction or not. Pedal effort is up only slightly over stock, while torque capacity of 330ft-lbs can more than handle 99.9% of RX-8s out there. And because it's from ACT, the kit includes ALL necessary parts including the throwout bearing, pilot bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate and alignment tool. ACT Prolite Flywheel (with CW03 Counterweight) - 600140 - $360 shipped
Despite being the lighter, more 'race oriented' flywheel, customers report it works great on the street and doesn't significantly increase NVH. Weighs just under 10lbs, or less than 15lbs with the counterweight. You'll notice better throttle response and more willingness to rev at all rpms. 2 in stock.

We don't have them up on the site yet, but we can also get good deals on the Heavy Duty kits with 4-puck and 6-puck clutch discs. Contact us directly for a quote on those.

We can also get the Extreme Duty clutch kits for better pricing than our site shows, but even ACT generally doesn't recommend those kits for the vast majority of RX-8 owners. Quite simply, they are overkill in almost every case.

And lastly, we have similarly good deals on the Streetlite flywheel for those who want something a bit lighter than OEM but don't want any additional NVH.

Sorry I failed to update this; the clutches and flywheels are recently departed. However, I can still do the prices shown on the individual clutch or flywheel, though the package price is now $750 shipped. Availability might be a little spotty, but I plan on restocking next week and will find out then when they will arrive.

Thanks for the bump! As everyone who is looking probably knows, ACT is out of RX-8 pressure plates and is just finishing up on them right now. So since I ordered in late January, I've sold two of the three kits I have coming in. In summary, I should have one kit available by late this month, and flywheels are readily available though not currently in stock.
