I'm in the same boat. Even thinking about fabricating stock grille pieces together for a straight oem look, but recessed way back from the opening. Also, use the similar, but smaller grilles from other Mazda models for the oil filter intakes.

The rear lip is a nice and understated little add-on. I got mine oem from a chap in the UK but I figure derwankel will make some good money when he starts fabricating them.
